Job Summary:

As an IT Administrator, you will oversee and maintain all aspects of a company's computer infrastructure and technology systems.

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Job requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support your teammates across various teams in the Eastern time zones
  •  Install, deploy and co-ordinate shipment of equipment (i.e. Laptops, monitor and headsets) while updating the hardware inventory list 
  • Managing the lifecycle of employees (On-boarding and off-boarding) 
  • Responding to ticket request that come to the department from internal stakeholders
  • Installation and maintenance of network equipment 
  • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems 
  • Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Office suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc. 
  • Support and experience with Azure infrastructure  
  • Maintaining company related IT documentation 
  • Keep on top of tickets, adhere to SLAs with tickets assigned to you, resolve issues promptly and professionally 
  • Communication with end-users as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages 
  • Organize and attend various stakeholder meetings 
  • Participate in technology meetings, assist with projects where necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

WHO YOU ARE

Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of IT project coordination experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
  • Experience in managing project priorities
  • Exceptional ability to keep track of tasks, deadlines, progress
  • Task and results driven, strong ability to multitask, with a heightened sense of urgency
  • Experience with MS Office tools, such as (but not limited to), Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana
  • Ability to work 9am-5pm EST
